If anyone is interested in running the 2014 BUPA Great North Run for FMA UK and is successful in the ballot, please notify Pam Stewart (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) for awareness materials and publicity.
2014 BUPA GREAT NORTH RUN BALLOT IS NOW OPEN
This year the event, which will be staged on Sunday 7 September, will become the first mass participation run to welcome home its one millionth finisher!
The general ballot will close at midday on Wednesday 5 February. All successful and unsuccessful applicants will be notified by email on or before Wednesday 12 February.
If you have already entered the Daily Mirror ballot and been unsuccessful, you have automatically been entered in to the general ballot, please DO NOT enter again.

ENTER THE GENERAL BALLOT
All applicants will be required to submit payment details at the time of entering the ballot. Payment will only be taken if the entry application is successful.
Entry fee for 2014:
- Bupa Great North Run 2014 UK Entry £41.67 + VAT £8.33, total price to pay £50.00
- Bupa Great North Run 2014 Overseas Entry £70.83 + VAT £14.17, total price to pay £85.00
Prospective applicants are reminded to respect the challenge of long-distance running. Whilst it is an enjoyable route to fitness and well-being, it is also a significant physical challenge and if you have not exercised before or for some time, it is advisable to consult a doctor prior to undertaking an exercise programme.
