June meets Patsy Kensit

Last week June got the opportunity to be presented to Patsy Kensit and managed to chat to her for quite some time about fibromyalgia. June sent me the two photographs that were taken when she was introduced to Patsy last Wednesday. I have attached them for you all to see, some of you may have already seem them on Face book.

June told me that Patsy was very interested in what she had to say and that she asked her a lot of questions about FM. The first photograph does show how attentive Patsy was to what June was telling her and the second one shows Patsy holding the FMA UK badge and ribbon on her jumper. June's comment was that she herself would not have pinned a badge onto a jumper of that calibre if she had been wearing it !!. The jumper was obviously a very expensive one. Patsy did say that she would try to remember to wear the badge on International Awareness Day, May 12th,  so maybe someone or even everyone who is on twitter or face book could remind Patsey of this on May 12th.

I think that these are great photographs and that June should be congratulated for yet again successfully getting the fibro message across. She never misses an opportunity.  Gerry and I are just waiting to hear what she has planned for spreading the word when the Duchess of Cambridge comes to visit Grimsby in the not too distant future. That could be quite a challenge for her - I am only joking.
